The Weakest Link

Game Overview

The Weakest Link is a quiz game where players work as a team to build a chain of correct answers and bank money. After each round, the team votes to eliminate one player - the "weakest link" - until only one player remains.

Game Setup

• Enter the number of players (2-8)
• Input names for each player
• Set the round timer duration (1-10 minutes)

Gameplay

• Players take turns answering questions
• For each correct answer, the money chain increases (£0 → £20 → £50 → £100 → £200 → £300 → £450 → £600 → £800 → £1000)
• A player can choose to "Bank" the current chain value before answering, adding it to the team's total
• Banking resets the chain back to £0
• An incorrect answer resets the chain to £0 without banking
• The round ends when the timer runs out

Elimination

• After each round, players vote to eliminate one player
• In this web version, after the timer runs out, you can click the "Eliminate" button next to a player's name
• The game continues with fewer players in each round
• The final round is played with the last two remaining players

Statistics

The game tracks each player's performance:

• Correct answers
• Wrong answers
• Money banked
• Money lost (value of the chain when answering incorrectly)
• Time spent answering questions

Winning

The last player remaining wins the game and takes home the money banked by the team throughout all rounds.
